“Where the Rain Begins and Where the Rain Ends”, Biroscape 308
0One of the things that interest me, while I carry out my works, especially those in pen, is to try to let signs that reveal other signs show through the hatching. If you look closely at the work, they will appear as objects that do not perform an action aimed at harmoniously concurring with the classic and stylistic principle of hatching. They are an obstacle to it, which I have to try to overcome and incorporate inside, trying on the one hand to harmonize them with the rest, and on the other hand leaving them glimpse as a testimony of otherness or, if you like, diversity towards the whole.
Una delle cose che mi interessano, mentre eseguo i miei lavori, soprattutto quelli a penna, è cercare di far trasparire attraverso il tratteggio segni che rivelano altri segni. Se guardi da vicino l’opera, appariranno come oggetti che non compiono un’azione volta a concorrere armoniosamente con il principio classico e stilistico del tratteggio. Sono un ostacolo ad esso, che devo cercare di superare e incorporare dentro, cercando da un lato di armonizzarli con il resto, e dall’altro lasciandoli intravedere come testimonianza di alterità o, se vuoi, diversità verso il tutto.

“I HEAR WHAT YOU’LL SEE YOU SEE WHAT I HEAR” 5 pieces of music (Improvisations 1 – 5) And The Nature Series Painting
0The Natures Series is enriched with important elements for understanding the development of my landscape research.
The collaboration between me and Steve Somerset allowed for a live streaming on facebook where his music compositions (Improvisation 1 – 5), created specifically for this project, developed together with my paintings.
This has allowed a true connection between painting and music that take place in a definite time, giving the viewer the opportunity to witness the construction of the work of art and a better understanding of its inspiration and its project.
The five pieces of music have suggested the structure and evolution of the work and in the same way my way of working suggested the music that proceeded in unison with the genesis of the paintings.

The word more than the absolute image, is by its nature symbolic and totally impossible to be perceived as a signifier, however, this one, reserves a sort of ambiguity that could be defined as modelable, adaptable to our most intimate circumstances.
La parola più che l’immagine assoluta, è per sua natura simbolica e del tutto impossibile da percepire come significante, tuttavia, questa, riserva una sorta di ambiguità che potremmo definire modellabile, adattabile alle nostre circostanze più intime.
