Ballpoint Pen on Cardboard, 14,8 x 10,5 cm, October 2021

Ballpoint Pen on Cardboard, 14,8 x 21 cm, August 2021
The sheet has been divided by a pencil line into two parts where I will go to perform two distinct and consequent drawings, on the one side a drawing that is the result of the sketches I took in the place where I chose the subject and on the other side another drawing that will testify as for me Drawing is an arcehological research within the layers of my history, above all and obviously of my artistic history. A research that helps me to enter into my perception of the world, of the things around me and of the systematic revision that I do of them and of the way in which I analyze them through the graphic dismemberment and the graphic reconstruction. This modus operandi of my eye is witnessed with the help of my hand by means of the graphic or pictorial signs that appear on the surface.

Ballpoint Pen on Cardboard, 14,8 x 10,5 cm, August 2021
A sketch on cardboard of the sea, of that sea I saw in August, of that smell of the sea that always resurfaces in my memories. A thought to Courbet, the painter who invented the sea.

The phases of a pen drawing from the Biroscape series.
Biroscapes are pen drawings made exclusively with the BIC pen. They measure 14.8 x 10.5 cm.
In this video I used the BIC CRISTAL pen and the BIC CRISTAL FINE pen. Fabriano cardboard has a weight of 240 g.
The Biroscape does not have a title yet and I would love it if you suggest one to me.
The paintings that I mention in the video are by Andrea Mantegna and John Constable and in the description of the video you will find the reference below
