In this portrait of Dave Gregory, XTC guitarist, Tin Spirits and now Big Big Train, I tried to bring out the determination of Dave, the brilliant and intelligent side of his guitar ideas. I hope you like it too. In a message he says “go ahead, but it will probably frighten away your visitors” I think and I hope that is not so, and that my interpretation of your eyes are understood and appreciated. The painting is divided by two sections, the first represent the contemporary vision of existence, especially the urban, full of incentives and distractions that isolate the human being and force him to live a solitary existence in the midst of a crowd of lonely people. The second represents the nature that looks, amazed and curious, the human beings universe.
